With sandal season well and truly upon us, I thought it was time to give my feet some much needed attention. Don’t worry, I haven’t taken any photos of my actual feet, just in case you were wondering before you carried on reading.
After having a nerve biopsy on my ankle, which has left the scar area looking rather swollen, and having a neurological disability means my feet can sit at very strange angles. Over the years this has caused my feet to suffer and look a bit of a mess, with cracked heels and hard skin on the bottoms of my toes. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to shoes, fashion over comfort always comes first.
I’ve been testing out Leighton Denny Well Heeled Intensive Foot Masque and my feet have never been happier.
The great thing about this is the cream does it’s work overnight while you’re asleep and you will see the results instantly, it’s not one of those creams where you have to use it for a few weeks before you see any of the benefits. It’s so easy to use, simply massage a small amount of cream all over your feet and pop on the cute pair of cotton socks that come with the masque, then get straight into bed. I love any beauty products that helps me look my best without any hassle.
I’ve already seen a huge improvement in the condition of my feet. My skin feels extremely soft and nourished, what I love about this intensive foot masque is that it exfoliates the dry skin on any problem areas leaving them silky smooth. I’m no longer worried about getting my feet out in open toes shoes, especially as I’ve just bought myself a couple of pairs of new sandals from Topshop.
It contains pineapple and papaya fruit extracts, making it smell absolutely incredible. It is also really refreshing on your feet thanks to peppermint oil and leaves them feeling relaxed after a busy day at work. It’s literally a 2 minute pamper session for your feet, yet it feels like you’ve spent hours having them massaged.
Before I go, I have to mention my two current favourite nail polishes from Leighton Denny. First is the shade Rosey Posey, which is a beautiful camel nude and looks very classy and classic. The second is in the shade Rumba Rose, which is a pretty rose pink, and perfect for for having my toes on show in my new sandals.
What are your favourite nail colours for summer?
