Makeup Look Using Only Charlotte Tilbury Products

I’ve wanted to do a makeup look for a while as I get quite a few questions asking me what products I use on a daily basis. I’m no expert but I know what I like and always keep it fairly natural. For this post I’m only using products from my favourite brand which of course is Charlotte Tilbury. I love everything about her makeup and adore the old Hollywood style packaging. This time I’ve included a photo of the finished look.

After cleansing and toning my skin I apply a small amount of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I just love this moisturiser, it feels beautiful on my skin without being too heavy. My skin feels incredibly soft and supple and my complexion looks brighter and flawless ready to apply my base.

Next, I add a few drops of the Wonder Glow Primer, which is a multi use product. It’s perfect for using under makeup to give your skin a light glow and even out your skin tone. You can also use this alone as a tinted moisturiser, which is great for those days you don’t want to wear foundation.

I’ve used a few pumps of the Magic Foundation in shade 4, honestly this is my all time favourite foundation. It’s the one I’ll go back to if I want a medium to high coverage, especially in photos. I love the creamy texture which blends into my skin beautifully without feeling too heavy.

To cover up any dark circles or blemishes I’ve used the Magic Away Concealer in shade 4. It’s super creamy consistency gives full coverage yet blends in beautifully. It’s a thick formula but feels comfortable and lightweight on the skin. It’s easy to apply using the the sponge applicator and I love how flawless it looks, no caking or sinking into fine lines.

I’ve set my base in place using the Airbrush Flawless Finishing powder in shade 2. My skin looks natural and fresh, which I love,

I’ve used the bronzer from the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette to lightly contour and enhance my bone structure and along my jaw line. I’ve used a larger brush to sweep a little colour over the areas of my face where the sun would naturally hit to give my complexion a sunkissed look.

I’ve then applied a few dabs of the Goldgasm Beauty Light Wand on my cheek bones and down the centre of my nose, gently blending it in with my finger tips. Over the top of the cream highlighter I’ve used a small amount of the golden toned powder highlighter from the palette which captures and reflects the light just where I want it.

The glow from both these products is absolutely incredible, yet still keeping it looking natural. The shades work well together creating the most gorgeous luminous complexion. The powders feel so soft and blend in beautifully,

Oh my word, I absolutely love the Cheek to Chic blusher in the shade Pillow Talk. I’ve used a medium sized powder brush to sweep it across the apples of my cheeks, it blends in beautifully and I just love how it gives your cheeks a natural rosey glow.

My eyeshadow of choice is of course the Pillow Talk Palette, I go on about it all the time but I just love how all four shades enhance your eyes without making you look over made up. The pinky brown colours complement the blusher, lip liner and lipstick from the Pillow Talk range. I’ve used the lighter shade all over my lid, the medium shade along the crease and the darker shade in the outer corners of my eyelid and along my bottom lash line.

I’ve completed my eye look with a few coats of Full Fat Lashes mascara in the shade Glossy Black to add volume and length to my lashes. There’s no flaking or clumping, and stays put all day.

On my lips I’ve used Pillow Talk lip liner to outline their natural shape, then I’ve mixed two shades of lipsticks together to create my perfect nude. I’ve used Matte Revolution in the shade Pillow Talk Original and Nude Kate from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range, which is incredibly moisturising.

And there you have the finished look.

All that’s left is to pop on my pearl jewellery and a spritz of my favourite Flowerbomb fragrance.

Spring Outfits I’m Wearing Right Now

It’s been a while but I’ve finally found the motivation to write a blog post and share a few of my most worn outfits right now. I’ve surprised myself with how much loungewear I’ve fallen in love with this year but as all my time is spent at home I want to be as comfy as possible and still look chic. Of course I’ve still been wearing Spring dresses, just to feel like myself and more pulled together. I’ve styled the dresses with a few accessories so you can see how I would be wearing them if I was leaving the house. I hope this post gives you a little inspiration for your own Spring wardrobe.

Long gone are the days when I’d wear an old grey t-shirt to sleep in so I began to invest in more luxurious nightwear. I bought my very first bra from Victoria’s Secret about 3 years ago and honestly I’ve never looked back. They fit my shape beautifully making me feel feminine and glamorous. I’ve bought a few items from their nightwear collection, they make me feel extra special every night as I climb into bed. The set I’m obsessed with right now is this pink satin cami top with matching shorts, both have a delicate lace insert and a slight frill at the bottom. The top has a deep v neckline and spaghetti straps and the shorts have an elasticated waistband.

I never thought I’d be wearing tie dye, yet I’ve totally fallen in love with this pink hoody and shorts set from Boux Avenue loungewear collection. It’s the softest material I’ve ever felt and I genuinely don’t want to take it off. It’s extremely comfortable and looks cute while I;m watching something on Disney Plus.

I’m totally in love with this beautiful soft sweat top from H&M which looks great with my white Topshop jeans. I love an all white outfit as I think it looks incredibly chic. I did actually wear this before the current lockdown and styled it with a cream trench coat, camel stiletto ankle boots and over size sunglasses.

I was given this loungewear set from Victoria’s Secrets for my birthday back in January and had been saving it for best. It’s incredibly soft and I adore the cute ballerina style top. If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the last few weeks it’s to live your best life every day and make the most of those little luxuries that come your way.

Usually the fist thing I do when I come home is take my bra off, I want to feel free. While I’m in isolation I’ve found the perfect alternative to an uncomfortable underwired bra. This pink lace bralet from Boux Avenue has a beautiful embroidered pattern with a frill bottom, it’s comfy and still gives me some support throughout the day.

Each year I try to pick up at least one basic top in a classic style that I’ll get a lot of wear out of. This ribbed short sleeve jumper literally goes with everything from skirts, trousers and shorts. I love the square neckline which is a little different for me.

There was something about this pretty green polka dot dress that caught my eye on the Nasty Gal’s website. I hardly ever wear green and thought it makes a nice change from pink or white. I love the fit and flare style with short puff sleeves and a shirring bodice. It’s super comfortable to wear with or without a bra, yet I still feel ultra feminine. I also love wearing pink accessories with this shade of green.

It wouldn’t be Spring for me without at least one new white cotton dress, they’re easy to wear yet look chic and stylish even whilst at home. Again it has a square neckline and button down front, this classic design will be in my wardrobe for many years to come. It’s feminine and floaty which keeps me cool in the warmer weather. When we’re allowed out again I’ll be styling this with a straw hat and basket bag for the ultimate summer look.

This 60s inspired pastel floral dress from River Island is simply gorgeous, I wouldn’t usually have gone for a swing style cut but it fits beautifully. I love everything about it, the design, the pattern, the pretty cuffs and frill detail at the bottom. If I’m having an admin day I still like to get “dressed up” as I feel a million times more productive.

Adrian and I have been enjoying lunch out in the garden and I still want to feel like me. If I was meeting friends in town for lunch I’d normally have worn a dress so I’ve been wearing last years pink broderie anglaise dress with frill sleeves, it’s perfect for garden picnics. It has many special memories, including our holiday to Norfolk and a day trip to London. Those occasions I’ll never take for granted again.

I was so excited to start wearing my Spring Summer dresses after months of heavy knitwear. This first dress I bought for my friends birthday afternoon tea, sadly it was cancelled but we decided to have virtual tea party instead. This pink floaty chiffon dress from Roman Originals is just beautiful and it seemed a shame to keep it hidden in the wardrobe. I wore it for our virtual party and again on warmer Spring days.

This stunning cream crochet button up dress from River Island definitely has the look of a Zimmerman dress but much more affordable, I feel super feminine every time I wear it and being on lockdown certainly hasn’t stopped me. It’s been my outfit of choice for our anniversary dinner and a cheese and wine date night at home.

Which is your favourite from all of these outfits? What sort of thing are you wearing at home?
