I love hunting down bargains and finding items that will get worn time after time, no matter what the season. I had been lucky enough to receive some high street vouchers for my birthday so during a shopping trip I picked up a few new items including this beautiful red floral dress from Monsoon.
It’s made of soft jersey material with a deep V neckline and a tie waist so it gives a very flattering shape. I love dresses like these as they are so versatile and can be worn all year round with boots and a coat during the colder months or a pair of open toe flats and your favourite tote bag in the warmer months.

I wore the dress for for a lunch date last week and styled it with my favourite knee high boots and a black box bag which is a perfect size for keeping a few essentials in.

Thank you for reading this post. Do you have a favourite go-to dress or outfit that you just love to wear?

With the cold weather well and truly upon us, it’s time to wrap up warm in those lovely winter coats that you’ve had in the wardrobe while it’s been so unseasonably mild.

For a busy day out and about last week I wore this long grey wool coat with a faux fur collar, which was perfect for both warmth and style. I found it in a local charity shop and it was in perfect condition.
I teamed it with a light grey cotton jumper and a dark grey wool skirt. I then accessorized the outfit with a grey wool fedora, black mini grab bag, purple check scarf and black knee high boots.

Let me know what you think and I’d love to know what your top winter coats are this year.

I never thought I’d end up wearing a pussy bow blouse but I came across this beautiful ivory one whilst looking for something else (as you do!) so I thought I’d give it a try. Even better, it was half price in the sale!

It’s absolutely gorgeous, I love the soft feel of the fabric and the way the bow hangs loosely down the front. The length is perfect for either having it tucked in or leaving in out of whatever jeans or skirt I happen to be wearing at the time.
I’ve styled it with a long green suedette skirt, a black wide brimmed hat and my favourite black knee high boots for a touch of old school glamour.
I’d also wear the blouse with jeans and a blazer for a more casual look.

As usual straight after Christmas I hit the high street in the hope of getting a few bargains and would most definitely be stopping off for coffee and cake along the way.
So I wanted to wear something smart but also comfortable, just in case I ended up trying on potential purchases!
I reached for my favourite leather biker jacket with a faux fur collar and lining. Here I’ve worn it with a chunky short sleeve roll neck jumper and skinny jeans.
I’ve also added a baker boy cap for a slightly retro look.
It’s such a versatile jacket and would look equally good with a floral dress and knee high boots.

I love wearing hats at the moment, I find they can either brighten up an outfit or even change the overall look.
There are so many different styles around but I chose this berry wide brimmed felt fedora to add a splash of colour to a black and white outfit.
As it’s extremely mild for this time of year I’m wearing a check blazer with a black knee length skirt and a cotton off white roll neck top. I also wear the hat with winter coats and it looks equally as good.
